I have always wanted to go to Rome (I have a thing for ancient ruins). And when I realized how cheap it was to travel within Europe, I immediately decided we had to do Rome! Orignally the trip was just London. Then I decided we had to take the Eurostar to Paris. Then we just had to do the overnight train to Rome. Now I know NEVER to do a second-class overnight train in Europe. Still, getting to walk around the city and see ruins everywhere was just awesome. Also, I had the best cold pizza from a random deli. And the sun finally came out for us :)
